Data Privacy Policy

The MoEYS HRCPD mobile application is an official service of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), designed to support Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for education staff in Cambodia.

Target Audience

The HRCPD app is intended for use by professional education staff affiliated with MoEYS. As such, the app is designed for users aged 18 and above. It is not intended for children or general public use.

App Features

HRCPD provides the following core functionalities:

• Search for CPD offerings: Filter by topic, provider, training modality, and location.
• Register for CPD: Select offerings under two funding options.
• View CPD activities: Track progress and completion status.
• Check CPD credits: View earned credits linked to your CPDMIS profile.

Data Handling

The HRCPD app does not collect or store personal data on the device or within the app itself. Instead, it securely connects to the CPDMIS database via authorized APIs to retrieve and display user-specific CPD information.

All data remains stored and managed within the CPDMIS system, which is governed by MoEYS data protection protocols. The app acts as a secure interface and does not retain or transmit personal data outside of this system.

Session Management

After a successful login, the HRCPD app stores a temporary session token on the user's device to enable secure access to CPDMIS-linked data. This token is valid for 24 hours and is automatically refreshed during active use.

If the app is not used within 24 hours, the session will expire and the user will be automatically logged out. This mechanism ensures that access to CPDMIS data remains secure and time-bound, minimizing exposure to unauthorized access.

No personal data is stored permanently on the device. The session token is used solely for authentication and is cleared upon logout or expiration.

Security

All API communications between HRCPD and CPDMIS are encrypted and authenticated. No sensitive data is cached or stored locally on the user’s device.

User Rights

Users may access, review, and manage their CPD records directly through CPDMIS. Any updates or corrections must be made via official MoEYS channels.
